An adequate selection of bearings to support the ballscrews, it is most important for the correct operation of the assembly. The main factors to consider this selection when designing the supports are, work loads, accuracy, lubrication and temperature.

It is important to design the bearings assembly for a ballscrew, with the fixing nuts making a compact block, independent from the position of the pulley or any other transmission elements. Bellow, we show some examples of typical mountings:
