Planes of ballscrew

In case of some special requirements for machine assembly or due to any other reason it is necessary to disassemble the nuts, this operation can be made by means of an assembly sleeve, with the following characteristics:

1. - Manufacture a sleeve longer than the nuts with the bore fitting the screw end, and the external diameter equal to thread root.
2. - Place the sleeve on the screw and unscrew the nuts until they disengage the thread and are mounted on the sleeve.
3. - Immobilise the nuts on the sleeve with adhesive tape or rubber retaining rings, to avoid accidental removal. In that position, the nut assembly and sleeve may be stored.

To reassemble the nuts reverse this procedure, being especially careful regarding the protectors and the beginning of the thread. Nuts must turn smoothly until they are again assembled on the screw, without any problem.
